Our mission is to bring a positive experience to unwanted or abandoned horses. By acquiring them and looking for potential in each horse, we wish to turn them into well-rounded, useful horses. Through this, we hope to provide jobs, education, and awareness for horse lovers so that they can experience the special bond that the human-horse relationship has to offer. We dream of continuing to bring horses and humans together.

Tamaya Horse Rehab is located at The Stables at Tamaya on the Santa Ana Pueblo in Bernalillo, New Mexico. With the support of Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, The Stables at Tamaya provides a beautiful and safe home for sixty horses. Currently, about half of the horses there are used for trail riding services and the remaining horses are under Tamaya Horse Rehab. Additionally, we have thirty rescue and rehab horses in San Ysidro, New Mexico at Connie Collis' feed store, CWW Feed & More.

As we continue to rescue and rehab more horses, we can provide them with a forever home at The Stables or adopt them to dependable human partners. In addition to donating, supporters have the opportunity to sponsor Tamaya Horse Rehab horses monthly or annually.
